THE FOLLOWING GROUP OF STONES ARE MT ST HELENS OBSIDIAN. From the 1980 volcanic eruption of Mt St Helens in Washington State. Dr Byer developed a process to heat and add color to the Obsidian. Most are very clean, bright and well cut. Under magnification, you may see very tiny bubbles as you do in other obsidian. This is some of the last GENUINE material left. Enjoy. Not to be confused with Helenite or other lab created material.
