Throughout the years a stronger interest grew in faceted gemstones and cabochons. I collected and developed contacts throughout the world to bring gemstones to you at very reasonable prices. Most of my gems are NOT the low quality gems so many sell on the Internet and on eBay. I try to carry clean well cut gems. Few have inclusions. When they do, I tell you. I have an extensive page on treatments of gems. A huge percentage of gems sold around the world have them. I disclose all I know about any gem I offer for sale. Over many years, I have sold to jewelers, jewelry designers and collectors. I offer my items through my website as well as on the road. For several years I left the road and traveled to Tennessee. I was fortunate enough to have my own show selling my gemstones on several of the Home Shopping Television Networks. It was a great experience. I have made some changes to the site that should make it better for you. It should allow me to keep it updated more easily too. You may be surprised at some of the things I present soon. SHIPPING OPTIONS: There are several options to choose from after you have made your purchases with me. As I carry many items on the road with me, you will need to Email me or call me with the items you are interested in to find out availability. I update the sold items several times per week. I will be listing 1 mm gems to minerals that weigh several pounds. Shipping costs vary due to weight. Please do NOT pay until I invoice you. |

FIRST CLASS POSTAL. No Insurance. Totally at your own risk without insurance. Once I put them in the mail, I have no control over the PO getting them to you. I use this option mostly for purchases totaling less than $20. |

FIRST CLASS POSTAL INSURED. I will mail up to 4 ounces of items for $3.50. Add $.40 per ounce over that. Most popular choice. |

PRIORITY MAIL. I use this for many people. I can ship up to one pound total weight for $6.50. |

When purchasing heavier items like minerals, crystals, slabs and more, I will calculate the shipping cost for you prior to you making a final commitment on your purchases. I do NOT try to make money on shipping. I simply want to cover the cost of it. Many people do not realize what goes into the pure cost of it. I will tell you - and in some detail: The envelope or box, puff pack, peanuts or bubble wrap, the label, the packing slip, the ink to print them, pens, tape to wrap the items, gas to take it to the post office, plastic bags or cups. I know some little items like pens, paper and ink sound like nothing. They do add up when you figure one ink cartridge is anywhere from $25 to $35. And, it does cost us in gas to go buy anything from anywhere. However, so many on line charge you for their items PLUS a charge for HANDLING. I do not. Anything I make for profit is in the cost of the item. I can say I do make a few cents on shipping and I do lose a few cents on some. |

The US Post Office charging by distance mailed on many of their services. Guess they want to be like UPS. The best thing to say about all these postal options is this…. Tell me everything you would like to have and I will give you the total for shipping. I do not try to make money from shipping. Just cover my costs. Most people do not realize what goes into the cost of shipping. I do not charge for the labor. Shipping costs include, envelope, bubble wrap, labels, tape, packing slip, ink for printing, pens, gas to and from PO and more. It is not simply the pure cost the PO charges. Just ask me how much. |

RETURNS: Returns are accepted on items that are not CLOSEOUTS or SPECIAL OFFERS. You must request a return number and it must be marked on the package.
You have 15 days from receipt of the item(s) to return them. Returns after that time are at my discretion. All returned item(s) must be in the same unaltered condition as sold to receive credit.
Shipping and insurance charges are not refunded unless I think it was my error. If you pay using PayPal, there may be a very small fee deducted from the refund as PayPal may not refund the transaction charge. It will be from $.30 to $.75 max. |
