The following group of BISMUTH crystals are simply exquisite. The photos do not do them justice. They are all as stunning as the best picture in the bunch. The colors run from yellow to golden to orange to red to reddish pink to blues and some blue green.  They all have the hopper type crystals typically seen in this material.

The crystals form floating in a bismuth melt. It takes only about 5 to 10 minutes. The rapid growth is responsible for hollow forms which are called "Hopper Crystals". You see all the beautiful colors as the light scatters on a thin layer of Bismuth Oxide which forms immediately when the hot crystals are pulled from the melt and come in contact with the air. This is the condensed version. I am sure the lab has many more secrets.

P-22. FIRE AGATE. Flashy brown bubbling. Top is polished and ready to be cut out in the shape you want. Polish the edges or just bezel it after you cut it. Measures about 30.5 x 20.5 mm and is about 10 mm thick. RDXX. $10.00.

P-23. FIRE AGATE. A beautiful polished piece Has a slight valley from the rd. white at the top going SW. All brown is polished. Stunning piece with about 15 or 16 botryoidal areas. Cut it out and mount it. Meas. 46 x 29.7 mm. 16.6 to 21 mm thick. RDXX. I believe if you can trim this off, there is more underneath as the brown color goes very deep. $75.00. P-24/25/26.  FIRE AGATE. 3 pics. Orange, yellow, green and a bit of red as you can see. You could cut a nice 20 x 20 mm cab from this. Measures about 43 x 42 mm. 18 to 21 mm thick. Top is polished. RDXX. $40.00.

9Q22/23. WULFENITE. 2 pics. #1 & #2. This specimen has 6 or 7 crystals meas. 10 to 12 mm. set on top of pure white matrix with tiny wulfenite crystals mixed in. Top is 2.5 x 1.5 in. 2.25 in high.  $15.00. Add $1 more for shipping.

9Q24/25. WULFENITE. 2 pics. #3 & #4. This specimen has three very nice crystals kind of cubes that measure about  10 x 8 mm. On a very white matrix covered with sugary crystals. Measures about 3 x 2.5 x 2 in. RDXX. $15.00. Add $1 more for shipping.
